Yes, and I still have the song running through my mind. 🙂 I watched numerous videos created by various artists, and I chose this one because it really brought fourth the meaning behind these words for me.

I added the song to a playlist for Tom and he’s enjoying it along with me. He starts his infusion therapy tomorrow and I thought this would be a wonderful song for him to have as a choice. The therapy last a little over 2 hours and while I expect him to snooze some during that time, even if he’s asleep, the music will be powerful. Thank you.

Yes, we are all imperfect beings. There’s only one that led a perfect life, and we all fall short of Him, don’t we? Exactly!! We are all works in progress. I think it’s ridiculous to expect to change over night. Yep, all wee can do is try our best and pray. And as long as out heart’s are in the right place, you’re good. It’s a favorite quote of mine, as well!

I’m often reminded of Gandhi’s question, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”

I agree! I love what they stand for. I think that we all have things that we need to change about ourselves. However, it takes time and lots of effort to do that. Too many people get discouraged because they can’t be “perfect.” It’s not about being perfect, but really about trying our best. I love the quote by Gandhi. Living that way he describes will take a person far.
