Captivated by Glory

Peering through a grand picturesque window
I fall witness to stunning panoramic views
Inundated in rich mesmerizing tranquility

Tendrils of sleepy withered vines
Once resplendent and flourishing
Hold fast in alluring cascading abundance

Crumpled leaves cling to delicate branches
Falling freely with each melodic gentle breeze
Gathering languidly on the snowy carpet below

Timeworn deteriorating timbers lay lifeless
Creating exquisitely preserved canopies
Protecting those hibernating within the cozy hollows

Beneath each hidden dwelling place
Lies evidence of captivating undisturbed life
Bringing entrancing warmth and inspiration

The sight floods my disenchanted soul
Orchestrating sparks of soothing energy
Creating an uplifting and ethereal affect

Renewed and invigorated by this glorious sight
I fall madly in love with my divine creator
Experiencing delirious ecstasy on an uninspiring day

Do you like hiking? Probably do, based on your blog pic. This is exactly the way I feel when out in nature. I wish I got out more often.

Cheers for the day and the Way…

  7. Yes, I have… unfortunately I wouldn’t know where to begin since I’m not very good at writing music.

  9. I can play piano, but not very well… A few years ago I took a couple of lessons and really enjoyed learning as an adult. Then we moved and I stopped taking lessons… I love to play what I have learned. I wish I could play better.

  10. Understood. My degree was in music education but I hardly play anymore. I am too busy with work and grandchildren

  11. I see… It seems there is always a season for everything. My daughter plays piano beautifully and composes all of her own songs. Unfortunately she cannot read or write music. She plays by ear and remembers everything that she composes. She can listen to most any song and play it back as if she is reading the music from a book. She has essentially robbed me of my piano and I am quite happy with the results. She inspires me to write, as I listen to what she plays. 🙂
