Feeling loved

As I laid there last summer
Under a brilliant blue sky
Friendships and love
Seemed to be passing me by

Many months slipped away
And I felt so alone
I just couldn’t seem
To find a welcoming home

The Lord knew my heart though
And even when I hesitated to pray
He saw my urgent need for love
And answered me anyway

Little by little
Love is now filling up the air
I’m fully breathing it in
Laughing when people stare

This feeling is euphoric
And I’m happy for a change
I love it when the Lord takes notice
And seeks to rearrange

I am finally witnessing
What I thought I would never regain
It’s such a lovely feeling
Knowing that love really does remain

  10. Well of course! I think most of us do. 🙂 I like all types of writing. Writing gives us a glimpse of a person’s heart and soul. I’m glad we met. Have a wonderful rest of your week and keep on writing! 🙂

  11. The Lord’s love is unconditional, full of grace, and incredibly profound. It’s incomprehensible, in fact. We can all take comfort in that, and offer many thanks.
