Believing lies…

fantasy-858683_960_720

Even when I feel alone
I know you’re always there
And today I was reminded
Of how much you really care

I’ve been telling myself lies
Believing every single one
Yet today you stepped in
Reminding me of all you’ve done

Why is it so easy
For me to forget who you are
Is it because I can’t see you
The way you really are?

  2. Thank you D…. I’m trying to remain as hopeful and as positive as I can, because life is too short to live any other way. 🙂

  3. We tend to question that which we cannot physically see. But His presence can always be felt, and to me that is something more beautiful than anything I can touch. Love you. ❤️

  4. I know what you mean… Sitting outside with a blue sky overhead and the rustling of leaves as the only sound to be heard, makes me feel His presence like nothing else. 🙂

  6. Believing in lies is not as bad as lying, I guess.

  7. One reason we often can’t see is because we have so much clutter blocking the view. As always, Michelle, I love your poems. They are so real.
