I woke to find

The world remade

As I realized I’d fallen

For his sweet serenade

Now beneath the covers

Wrapped in pure bliss

Anxiously awaiting

Another gentle kiss

  1. Your poetry can also be nice to wake up to (or at least to drink my morning coffee to, after getting up).

  13. I really enjoyed the lines, “I woke to find the world remade”. It is such a powerful idea and echoes the power in “falling” so wonderfully. Nicely written.
