The Absence of Motivation

girl-in-bed-1280x720

Oh motivation where have you gone?
Will you come back soon to where you belong?

Oh motivation where can you be?
Are you lost in the vastness of the wide open sea?

Oh motivation do you really exist?
I honestly need to know, I must insist!

Oh motivation will you give me a sign?
Can you please help me to free my mind?

Oh motivation what is your goal?
Are you lost in the mind of a tired old soul?

Oh motivation can you please tell me the truth?
Are you ever coming back to me, or have you moved to Duluth?

Oh motivation am I being too impatient?
What should I do, wait until I’m ancient?

Oh motivation are you really as important as you seem?
Are you really of any value, or just a fanciful dream?

Oh motivation are you really gone?
Don’t you know that without you I am not very strong?

Oh motivation can’t you see?
Without you, I am not being me.

  2. Probably and the fact the my daughter leaves soon. I haven’t been getting outside enough, and I am severely vitamin D deficient even in the summertime. Can’t seem to get my levels up, even with taking supplements.

  3. Oh, lots of changes, Michelle. I can imagine how your daughter’s departure is weighing on you. Here in Oregon we have vitamin D deficiencies too, and D levels are harder to boost than people think. I hope things smooth out soon. Take care.

  4. Thanks D, I will eventually make my way back to normalcy. I always do… Complaining won’t help, I just need to stay positive and pray more. I am my own worst enemy at times like these.

  5. And skype or call or email your daughter. She may need to hear from you as much as you need to hear from her. 🙂

  6. Yes, I am hopeful that she will be able to keep in contact with us once she is in Nepal. If not, it could be a couple of months before I hear from her.

    Motivation what is motivation?
Umm for me is like finding motivation in things flowing water or clouds!!! Aahhh!! That’s dreamy right?
I really can’t find motivation same as in the post but want to tell that I got my motivation few years ago when I met the love of my life!! I think you need someone to wake you up from dream and show you responsibilities that become motivational so as to be up to the mark for it!!!
I stay fit! I eat healthy and I keep my responsibilities my priorities and they al together are due to my motivation i.e. given by my love!!!
Thank you for bringing up such a great post!!
