About

When I first started my writing journey a couple of years ago, I began writing a series called “Revelations of the Past” I initially called it “Walking in the Footsteps of God.”  The idea for this series began with the following phrase; put your feet in the dirt, when you read through the Bible.  Book CoversI initially learned about this idea after attending a Christian women’s conference.  I remember thinking… what a unique concept.  The idea of looking at the Bible in this way, allowed me to start understanding things that I had never really understood before.

After posting about a forth of my “Revelations of the Past” series on WordPress, I was offered the opportunity to write for Channillo.com.  Since then I have branched out; and I have begun writing short stories, inspirational quotes, and poetry.  I have really enjoyed my time here on WordPress, and I have made some amazing friends along the way.  I really want to say thank you to all of you; especially those of you who have stayed with me through the rough spots.  Your encouraging words have helped me more than you will ever know.  I continue to write for you…  ~M  xo

  1. Michelle, you are certainly a productive woman ! I read three or four articles and I m very impressed. I came over because you left a like on my Haiku “silver Screen.” Thanks. Love your “feet in the sand” perspective in your Bible stories. If you are in writing 201 I’m sure to see you again.

  2. I keep re-vamping my “about me” because I don’t want it to be about me, either. I’m glad you’re here sharing the Lord’s love and mercy with us. 🙂

  4. Hi Michelle, I am nominating you for The Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award. If for any reason you decline, I will not be offended. I think it is beautiful the way that you honor God by putting your faith out there everyday to share. For that, I want to congratulate you and recognize you.

    1. Thank you for your kind words and for the nomination. It’s hard to stand up for what you believe in, but my strength comes from the Lord and it’s the only way that I can do this. I hope that you’re having a great Sunday and I really appreciate your heartfelt words. 🙂

      1. You are always welcome Michelle. Are you aware that veterans who deployed to both Desert Storm and Afghanistan/Iraq qualify for 100% disability due to the burn pits. I was excited when the TV show [I think it’s called The Shift – comes on right after The Voice] worked the burn pits into their first episode of the season. If you are interested, go to my search bar and type in Burn Pits. I’ve written 2 posts and am in the process of writing another.

    1. Thanks so much! I have only been blogging since December and I appreciate your feedback. I personally like the posts that I started with back in December. This is where I wrote the beginning scenes to Genesis. So if you ever have some free-time, I would recommend going back and reading those posts. I am already wondering how I am ever going to write about Leviticus and some of the other more gory parts of the Bible. Wish me luck! 🙂 ~M
