True friends…

Some people aren’t concerned about the welfare of others, while others are only concerned with the happiness of others; which one are you? Do you genuinely care about your friends, or are they just a means to getting what you want? True love is about giving of yourself and not expecting anything in return. It’s a remarkable quality in someone when they’re more worried about you than they are about themselves. I am grateful for the friends I have who genuinely love me and take the time to show me. And whenever I meet someone who seems unable to give of themselves, I’m reminded of those in my life who endlessly give me the greatest gifts of all: their time, their love, and their dedication to giving me something to smile about each and every day. So, thank you to those who live up to the definition of love; you know who you are, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without you. ~M xo

There has been such a good response with this month’s writing prompts, that I’ve decided to continue creating these on a monthly basis.  I was blown away by those of you who participated.  Your poems, stories, thoughts, and ideas were so creative and thoroughly enjoyable.  I want to give special mention to Dorinda Duclos, over at Night Owl Poetry.  She exceeded my expectations by completing every single prompt for September and spurred me on in the process.  So thank you Dorinda!  You completely amaze me by your determination and dedication, especially with all you’ve been going through.  Love you so much!  And without further ado, here’s the list of the amazing participants who are all incredibly gifted and talented writers.  Please take some time to visit their websites and get to know these wonderful bloggers.  Oh, and if I missed adding someone, please leave me a comment and let me know.  ~M
