Seduced – #RomanticTuesday

Her silence was interrupted

By the touch of his lips

And he smothered her mouth

With a warm luscious kiss

A sudden crushing embrace

Left her head spinning

Leaving her speechless

And inwardly grinning

Hands began frantically

To grab and tear clothes

This sudden turn of events

Left her quite literally exposed

Consumed by desire

For his sudden affections

She succumbed to his needs

Without any objections

I woke to find

The world remade

As I realized I’d fallen

For his sweet serenade

Now beneath the covers

Wrapped in pure bliss

Anxiously awaiting

Another gentle kiss

Writing prompt – by, D. Wallace Peach – I woke to find the world remade.

I’m still in awe of… (Part 6)

I am still in awe of…

How a simple yet delicate kiss

Can cause the sensation

Of heart melting bliss

A mere brush of the lips

Often leads to something more

Tempting those heightened senses

To go further and explore

And when at last each caress

Is in unblemished full bloom

The sultry air is bewitched

With loves sweet perfume

Mediterranean Inspiration – #RomanticTuesday

Lying beside you

On the misty morning beach

Your inviting body

Is just within reach

Your smile is enticing

Encouraging me on

In your arms

Is where I belong

Quick to notice

Your playful eyes

Which now reflect

The coming sunrise

The crispness of

The newfound day

Mixes effectively

With the warm sea spray

Drawn to the warmth

Of your polished skin

Lifting the blankets

You gather me in

Clothing shed

Your body feels amazing

Your smoldering touch

Leaves me blazing

Lost in the moment

Kissing heightens the thrill

And the cool morning air

Now loses its chill

Intimately exploring

Your touch is divine

Under the covers

Our bodies align

Thoroughly enjoying

Every sensuous caress

Legs spread apart

Allowing full access

Hearts beat faster

As emotions rise

Your view now reflecting

The blue in my eyes

The present time escapes

Senses out of control

My heart and my mind

Forever lost in your soul

Owl City – Vanilla Twilight

The stars lean down to kiss you
And I lie awake and miss you
Pour me a heavy dose of atmosphere
‘Cause I’ll doze off safe and soundly
But I’ll miss your arms around me
I’d send a postcard to you, dear
‘Cause I wish you were here

I’ll watch the night turn light blue
But it’s not the same without you
Because it takes two to whisper quietly
The silence isn’t so bad
‘Til I look at my hands and feel sad
‘Cause the spaces between my fingers
Are right where yours fit perfectly

I’ll find repose in new ways
Though I haven’t slept in two days
‘Cause cold nostalgia chills me to the bone
But drenched in vanilla twilight
I’ll sit on the front porch all night
Waist deep in thought because when
I think of you I don’t feel so alone

I don’t feel so alone
I don’t feel so alone

As many times as I blink
I’ll think of you tonight

I’ll think of you tonight

When violet eyes get brighter
And heavy wings grow lighter
I’ll taste the sky and feel alive again
And I’ll forget the world that I knew
But I swear I won’t forget you
Oh if my voice could reach back through the past
I’d whisper in your ear,
“Oh darling I wish you were here”

The Sweetest Kiss – #RomanticTuesday

The sweetest kiss ever

Was yours and yours alone

It brought me more happiness

Than I’ve ever really known

The gentle brush of your lips

Willed mine to agreeably part

Affectionately confiscating my mind

And fully capturing my longing heart

Only time knows…

You swept me away

To another place in time

As our lips embraced

And our bodies entwined

Your charm was intoxicating

My mind was a blur

You radiated confidence

And made my heart stir

Never in this life

Had I felt such bliss

Lost in the enchantment

Of your fiery kiss

If only these feelings

Could forever endure

And yet time is the only one

Who can completely assure

Is it real?

Kissing you still causes a tingling sensation

Which travels all the way down to my toes

Leaves me feeling blissfully happy

Always yearning for more as you know

After all these years do you feel it too

The euphoria of such an intimate act

Or have you grown accustomed to my everyday touch

And feel like you can no longer react

I never grow tired of what we have

Or how amazingly good you make me feel

But sometimes I wonder if it’s all just an act

Or if your love for me is truly real

Even though we’ve been together forever

I know how tiresome some years have been

And along the way we’ve had so many times

When we’ve kind of had to start again

So tell me do you really love me

Like you promised you always would

I want us both to love each other

The way we really should

First Kiss

favim first kiss

Fireworks burst forth

Across the starry night sky

As cool gentle breezes

Whisper and sigh

Jittery hands reach out

To caress and carefully hold

Affections begin to pique

And love suddenly unfolds

A mere crush on a boy

Becomes something more

As starry-eyed young lovers

Go ahead and explore

An innocent first kiss

Sends thrills of the heavenly kind

Promptly causing the world

To be completely left behind
