About

When I first started my writing journey a couple of years ago, I began writing a series called “Revelations of the Past” I initially called it “Walking in the Footsteps of God.”  The idea for this series began with the following phrase; put your feet in the dirt, when you read through the Bible.  Book CoversI initially learned about this idea after attending a Christian women’s conference.  I remember thinking… what a unique concept.  The idea of looking at the Bible in this way, allowed me to start understanding things that I had never really understood before.

After posting about a forth of my “Revelations of the Past” series on WordPress, I was offered the opportunity to write for Channillo.com.  Since then I have branched out; and I have begun writing short stories, inspirational quotes, and poetry.  I have really enjoyed my time here on WordPress, and I have made some amazing friends along the way.  I really want to say thank you to all of you; especially those of you who have stayed with me through the rough spots.  Your encouraging words have helped me more than you will ever know.  I continue to write for you…  ~M  xo

  1. Thank you for reading my “Mermaid” story. It is a favorite of mine based on a childhood memeory, of which i wrote several several versions of it in classes and yet never felt I got it quite the way I wanted it. Although, that’s is how these things are. But I think I nailed the last line. I was proud of that one.

I am sorry I do not read much. I am legally-blind and it taxes me to do just what I do, but never fell your praise or comments are being ignored.

    Thank you.

  2. I love you concept and your blog. I look forward to following and reading along. I also love this pic! It looks as if you’re at the Badlands…I went there once, when I was in high school. That was over 25 years ago, and I’ve longed to return. One day, I will. 🙂 Thanks for sharing your story.

  3. Hi. I like your blog, you’ve got lots of followers! How long have you been blogging? I like the way you have got lots of little bits and pieces on it, you suddenly throw in a short poem, or a photo, or a quote. I’m new to blogging, and I need to get into a routine to post regularly.

    1. Thank you! I have been blogging for a year. I like to write about so many different things and really haven’t stuck to one particular genre. Sometimes I think this gets me into trouble with my readers, so it’s refreshing to hear that this is appealing to you. Thank you for commenting and have a wonderful week! 🙂

  4. Hi! I liked this. I too like to look at things from the lens of the Bible. I don’t just write to Christians so I tend to be unconventional and use unconventional language to express my thoughts. To me it has been part of the process of “going deep.” I like to ask the hard questions. I’m looking forward to your posts.
