When I first started my writing journey a couple of years ago, I began writing a series called “Revelations of the Past” I initially called it “Walking in the Footsteps of God.” The idea for this series began with the following phrase; put your feet in the dirt, when you read through the Bible.
I initially learned about this idea after attending a Christian women’s conference. I remember thinking… what a unique concept. The idea of looking at the Bible in this way, allowed me to start understanding things that I had never really understood before.
After posting about a forth of my “Revelations of the Past” series on WordPress, I was offered the opportunity to write for Channillo.com. Since then I have branched out; and I have begun writing short stories, inspirational quotes, and poetry. I have really enjoyed my time here on WordPress, and I have made some amazing friends along the way. I really want to say thank you to all of you; especially those of you who have stayed with me through the rough spots. Your encouraging words have helped me more than you will ever know. I continue to write for you… ~M xo
Thanks for leaving all the positive likes and comments on my blog.

Hi. Michelle. Just wondering how you put the question mark in this menu link to get your random post working?

Hey Alan, thanks for your comment. I’m on vacation right now, but I’ll get back to you on this as soon as I can. It’s been so long since I added this feature to my blog, that I’ve sort of forgotten how I did it. I’ll take a look though and perhaps provide a tutorial post on how to do it next week. Take care and have a great day! ~M

Thanks Michelle. Enjoy your vaycay. When I try to put in ?random, WordPress strips out the question mark. Perhaps you were lucky and WordPress did not do this when you added this in the random post?

In your settings you need to go to Appearance, then Menu and set it up as a Custom Link, instead of a Page. Did you try that?

This is Wonderful! Although I hadn’t heard that phrase–put your feet in the dirt–that’s how I’ve been “living” the Bible for the past 6 years; really comes alive, and I still think I’m one of the murmuring Israelites, for better or worse 🙂 I came to your blog via another blogger, perhaps Spirit-led–and I might like to try your prompts… If I get confused, I’ll be back with questions 🙂 God bless you.

I’m so glad you found me here, and thank you for sharing a little bit of your life story with me. It would be great if you and Spirit-led would join me in doing the writing prompts. Makes it so much more fun when others join in. Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend. Many blessings to you… 🙂

Oh, I’m sorry I’ve mislead you regarding the blog where I found your link–it was Dorinda Duclos (not sure I spelled that correctly). As I was typing my earlier comment, I had a “senior moment” (I’m about to turn 65 and it shows!!) and couldn’t remember her name 🙂 But it’s all good now–blessings on your weekend! ❤

Oh that’s quite ok… and yes, that makes sense. Dorinda and I are great friends and she has been doing all the prompts with me. Have a very blessed weekend as well! 🙂

That’s one of the coolest aspects of blogging–you find one blog/blog person you like…and they’ll lead you to others who are like-minded/hearted. It’s a God-thing, for sure! 🙂 ❤
