“Anyone that truly loves with their heart, mind, and soul must surely know that love is not a shape or shade, but the exquisite sum of who we are when the adornments and image projection are stripped away. To know that beauty in the ones we hold dear, is the greatest gift people can share.” ~Daniel Hinson
Daniel was one of the first bloggers that I met and became friends with here on WordPress. We’ve collaborated together in the past on “Monotony Free Mondays” which unfortunately didn’t last very long, since I couldn’t get the support needed from enough other bloggers. I also had the opportunity to share a short bio about Daniel’s life, which can be found here. He’s an amazing writer, wonderful person, and a treasured friend. Please visit his blog at: Hyperion Sturm. I am also especially fond of his series, In the Garden of Darkness and Light. So check him out! ~M

I couldn’t help but quote one of his comments. He is always so eloquent when he speaks. 🙂

Thank you so much, M, for your endorsement of my thoughts and story of the Garden of Darkness and Light. I can say any success I’ve had as a blogger and writer was founded on the early guidance and support I received from you. You got me on the right path and though not everything I write is of interest to the readers, at the heart of it all is that belief that it is love for one another that binds humanity together and separates us from the flora and fauna of our earth. With gratitude – Daniel.

Daniel, you’re so sweet…. I think the reason you began to do so well, is because you began to believe in yourself. It’s our own critical judgement of ourselves which truly holds us back. You’re an amazing writer, so don’t ever forget it! I started to reread through your story again today. I think I may have to go through it once again. Such a great story… I think you should start reposting it. I’m sure your new and old readers (like me) would be delighted to see it. Take care and keep writing! 🙂

Thank you again M! I think that’s a good idea. I’ll start it again soon. I may edit it to fix some of the grammar and punctuation. I’ve learned a lot since it was first published.

I’ve thought very hard about publishing this story on Amazon. Maybe after some good editing, it’ll be ready. I think I may add some of the missing times to fill in the blanks along the way. I never wrote what happened to Sonia although I shared the information in comments I believe. I’ll try it and see how it goes. 😀

I think that’s a great idea! If you need any help with anything let me know. I’m not a great editor myself, but I would love to be a beta reader for you if you need one. 🙂

Thank you, M! I’ll send you an email later. If you are familiar with Google drive, I can post the rewritten chapters up on Google and you can access them, read, and comment as you see fit. I’ll set it up this weekend and send you a link to the share drive.

It is indeed a beautiful thing to be able to see the essence of a person’s human spirit being able to capture not just the depths of their undeserved darkness but also the beauty of the journey toward light and wholeness.
Our human spirit is an amazing thing! A design that lets us splinter and fracture it so as to endure trauma and pain.
But also an amazing God who is more than able to heal the traumatic fractures and splinters.
Looking out beyond these kinds of self preservation abilities which God has included in our human spirit it is very beneficial for us to recognize that the greater the attack is a marker to show us that the greater is the call!
Many blessings to Daniel Hinson in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazaeth.
