Every night at the dinner table, one of us poses a question for everyone to answer. Tonight my daughter Autumn asked this one; she said,
“If you could go back in time, how far back would you go, and why?”
So now I’m asking you… my fellow blogger friends. How would you answer this question? For me, I don’t know if I’d go back at all since I’m not quite sure what I would hope to accomplish. ~M

“When the weight of the world is upon you and you're left spinning out of control. When you’ve been plunged head first into darkness, and you don’t know where to go. Simply follow that tiny flicker of light, far off in the distance somewhere. It’ll lead you to a place where love abounds and where hope is found everywhere.” ~M

Funny story Michelle. I asked my friend the question and she said she wouldn’t go back either, because if she did, she’d only end up doing something stupid like killing some people who’ve made line hard along the way hahaha

I agree, I don’t know that I would go back in time either. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I hadn’t gone thru what I have gone thru over the years. While I do have some regrets, at the same time I don’t regret because I have learned a lot because of the things mistakes and stuff I have done or gone thru.

Exactly how I feel… which is why I doubt I’d go back.

There are two different ideas in that one question. If I could “travel” back in time I would go back to when I was a child to protect myself from some events that forged my mind. If I could go back in time, meaning, go back to a former self, then I wouldn’t do it because I couldn’t be me anymore and I am pretty sure I would make the same choices again. Interesting question that was 🙂

Definitely a good reason to want to travel back. My 8 yr old asks me these types of questions all the time.

I would go back to the moment before I listened to my favourite song..so I could hear it again…for the first time.

Must be a beautiful song then. I don’t think I have a favorite song myself. Hmmmm….

When I say favourite song, I really mean several.. I’d just love to revisit the moment before having experienced them for the first time.. favourite songs are very situation, mood and weather dependent 😉

They certainly can be. 🙂

I can imagine that with a job, husband and four daughters you have much time for music exploration!

I find myself loving music more than I used to, but I’m definitely not one of those people with earbuds in my ears 24 x 7. Lol…. I also enjoy all types of music and I don’t really have a favorite kind. Both of my son-in-laws are musicians and my 3rd born plays piano beautifully. If I had to be stuck with only one kind of music for the rest of my life, it would definitely be piano. I play a little piano myself, but don’t practice enough to be very good.

I think, for me, probably back to the age of dinosaurs. 😀 Just to see if dinosaurs really existed.

You’re much braver than me then. I’d be scared to death! 😉

Haha, not really, I believe if I go, I’ll make sure I have some dinosaur repellent ready or a high tech electric shield, one that’ll shock the dinosaurs into unconscious. 😀

Oh, good thinking! I suppose it wouldn’t be so bad then. 😉
