“When the weight of the world is upon you and you're left spinning out of control. When you’ve been plunged head first into darkness, and you don’t know where to go. Simply follow that tiny flicker of light, far off in the distance somewhere. It’ll lead you to a place where love abounds and where hope is found everywhere.” ~M

Hello Michelle. I just read your post. I understand how you feel, sadness is not an exciting feeling. If I may ask, do you believe in God? No matter the situation we are in, God wants to give us true happiness. There is great joy in his presence. I would like you to keep an open mind and try something: find a quiet space in your house, imagine that Jesus is in front of you, speak to him the way you will with a close friend, tell him exactly how you feel. Be sure to offload all your feelings, nothing sounds stupid to God, he cares about all aspects of our life. Tell him to come into your life and pour out immense blessings. When you are praying, beware of sudden distractions, this is a tool used by the devil to stop people from praying focused prayers. You might also get the feeling that God is not there and that you are simply wasting your time, this is another trick used by the devil to discourage people from prayer. God is there with you and willing to listen to you. When you get the answers to your prayers, remember to thank God. Try to maintain a relationship with him, keep telling him how you feel and finding out about him. I assure you that when God fully becomes immersed in your life, you will realize that you are royal, you are the daughter of the king of heaven, and even the devil will bow down when commanded in the name of your father in heaven. Good luck and God bless.

You’re message to me was very thoughtful and very encouraging. And yes I am a believer. But even as a believer, I’m not immune to the daily struggles that we all tend to face from time to time. So I pour out my heart in my writing, for it’s the one gift God has given me that helps me cope the most. Thank you again and have a wonderful week ahead. 🙂

I suppose that depends on how you view life, Michelle, and what you make of it.

I guess these feelings are like family, we can’t choose them.
